Best driver pairing in F1 today?

OK, here is one to get you all thinking!
I wanna know who you feel is the best driver pairing in F1. They don't have to be team mates at the moment, and money isn't an issue. Just imagine you are a team boss, and you want THE BEST partnership! The only rule is, They have to be CURRENT F1 drivers.
I think I would go with Montoya and Alonso as my dream lineup!
Let me know what you think!

2 points Juke box, firstly neither Verstappen or Villeneuve are CURRENT F1 drivers, second point, why when you could pick ANY current driver would pick Jos Verstappen?

Dani - Schumacher is past his best, and on his way out, put him in a Jaguar, or a Sauber, or even a Mclaren for that matter, and he would be soundly beaten (probably by whoever filled his berth at Ferrari!!!)

Neither was mine. I don't have live qualifying. Guess it was just an inspired choice.

If the poll was for the teammates currently running as such, I would have to say Michael and Rubens. They are fantastic together and I believe it will be a very long time before a similar pairing comes to F1.

As for the dream team, if I were to pick a pair not currently running as teammates I would say Michael and Fernando, as he may be quicker in many circumstances than Rubens.

Michael and Villeneuve would still be the most exciting thing to hit F1 since...well...ever I think!

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed.

Everyone asks about TGF when they first join. It's That German Fellow, AKA Michael Schumacher. And it produced big laughs last year when I was passenger in a car crash, in a vehicle whose registration ended TGF. I still call the driver in that case 'Schumacher' even now.

I'd love to see Michael and Juan Pablo as team-mates. It clearly won't happen now, but we'd get a great idea as to how Michael can cope with pressure from a team-mate who won't move over for him, or give in when the team tries to give him second-rate treatment. He's looked like the second-best driver out there so far this season as well.
