Trevor should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Wasn't Sandown in strife a few years ago for 'OHS compliance' issues? I can't remember, did they actually run there that year?

I remember when China fell over and Winton stepped up and ran a 2nd round in the same season

my recollection was Winton had been dropped and then was added late after China fell over.

think it Was PI (2009) that doubled up on. 2 day race, little support categories, minimal crowd

Good to see the drama has been resolved at QR and they now have a licence to 2021.

Why is there an assumption that Tailem Bend would get the 500? How would the Adelaide 500 organisers feel?

Does there even need to be a two-driver 500km race these days?

Make Clipsal a 2-driver event.

According to Auto Fiction’s FB page (sorry can’t post link from my phone) the required track upgrades for the FIA licence are going ahead so the 500 stays at Sandown.

Turn 6 focus for this year before more work next year, plan to keep the track in operation until at least 2025.

Good news.

Thanks for this news. Sad that they have to make modifications, hopefully the overall circuit won’t suffer.

SANDOWN’S SALVATION
