Slightly relevant to the subject of marshals' profiles but not at all relevant to that Mr whatsisname's little chat...
I just had a thought that when ITV do their "meet the teams" sections, perhaps they could do a "meet the marshals" slot. They could come to a training day, spend time with us on the bank, see how we deal with incidents. And mention we are volunteers (albeit well trained) and anybody is welcome. It might not raise our profile with the powers that be but it might bring us to the attention of the general public. Was that a flying pig I just saw? PJ |

ITV did do a 'meet the marshals' after they interviewed me at the 2004 BGP.

I've had another brilliant idea. Suppose we make some round disk shaped things and attach them to a flat platform, it would make moving things around easier.
Has anybody heard of this one before? I don't want to keep re-inventing the wheel. PJ |
