Mercedes. Considering the trouble they've been having with the car, 5th and 6th was a creditable result.

Considering Mercedes had the fastest car in FP2 I think the race performance was excellent but they had those placings in Australia which was an even better performance.
RBR did what they were capable of, great but not outstanding. Ferrari wasn't able to convert pole into a win but did fill the rest of the podium so I gave my vote to them. Not a great race. Of the rest, I think all underperformed their potential promise with maybe the exception of Williams, who scored another point. |

Red Bull for mine - showed that they are quick on their feet through the course of a weekend - had issues with Max, curtailing his practice time, then dealt with a down on power engine for Sergio but still achieved a 1-4 that was SO very nearly a 1-3.

Toss up between Ferrari and RBR, but a win is a win, RBR. Kudos to Mercedes for the points.

I know which team gets my anti-vote, and that's the ones I'm rooting for - McLaren. A car that is missing something crucial, not using the engine to best effect and not good with aero, combined with terrible pitstops and strategy. DRS trains are the killer, and they put both Lando and Daniel in the midst of it. No cookie.
I almost gave this one to Haas, for providing us with the most improved and actually entertaining in-team overtaking action on track. Runner up. But, the honour goes to Mercedes, for managing to get that dog of a car up there with fast thinking, development and two really solid drivers. Good team effort. |

I think I'll go for Mercedes too. Nothing much to choose between RBR and Ferrari.

gonna also say Merc.
RB is there because of their driver and as happy as i am to see Ferrari back in the mix the team needs to put out some upgrades already! of course long season so no doubt they are just implementing a differing approach/development cycle then RB...we will see at the end who took the better line but right now, imo, it seems like they have squandered their advantage. |

It could only be Ferrari or Red Bull. I gave it to Ferrari because Christian Horner is not their team principal.
I don't understand the votes for Mercedes. Being third best team is only impressive if you are used to tugging around at the back. Not when you have dominated for the last X years. |

In doing so, everything in the past is irrelevant for me, and I considered the race alone. Ferrari and Red Bull took the front two rows in qualifying (I can see an argument for why I could vote for Red Bull in the race). Behind them, Bottas was 5th, with the Mercedes drivers in 6th and 12th. Turning this into a 5th and 6th is why they get my vote. |

Has to be Red Bull for me. They didn't do anything wrong from what I could see.
