Simon H should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
advice please on f1 factory tours

Hi All,

I am going to be in England on around the 1st september foe a week and was hoping to get some sort of public tour of a f1 factory.

I have no idea whether such a thing exists but i thought someone might be able to give me a pointer or two.

Obviously the factories would have pretty limited facilities for this sort of thing, if it indeed exists at all.

Has anyone any info on such a thing, or specific experiances they want to share?

I would really appreciate it.

Regards, Simon

I think some of the teams do offer these, such as Red Bull and Honda, but what I've managed to glean from various articles online you need to be a member of that teams supporters club.

Honda had a charity open day last year. Unfortunately they're not doing the same for 2008.

Some motor clubs organise tours too - but again you have to be a member. Williams are another team that give tours but again it's all for groups and booked well in advance.

Sponsors can also get tours - so you just need to dig deep
