I've got £50 to spend at the Autosport International tomorrow, anyone suggest a good die cast model.

Depends on what's on offer. Minichamps do most of the recent STW Audi A4's but they can be a little hard to find. Also expect to pay full price (£25+). Onyx do stacks of Honda Accords and best of all they fairly cheap - the red Roger Moen is very nice at around £10, some of the older Italian, German, NA cars can be as little as £5. Onyx also do a few Primeras - the 99 Matt Neal car is very nice (£20).

Not sure if they will be there but look out for a company called F1 Speed. They are at most BTCC meetings and normally have a few bargins.

I bought from F1 speed a 99 Renualt Laguna Jason Plato and a 98 Volvo S40 Rickard Rydell/Jim Richards Bathhurst car for only £15! What a deal

Have you seen the ad in Autosport for the 1/4, 1/8 1/18 the scale Formulae Renault and you can pick the livery.
Hubby is heading straight for there to get a Paston one but I rekon a Kimi R. one would be a real collectors piece in a few years.

Doesn't matter anymore, i've been to the Autosport International today and it is better than last year. I managed to get a 1/18th model of the Persson Mercedes Benz DTM car for £20! 2 Honda Accords (Roger Moen and Robb Gravett), one Peugeot 406 (Tim Harvey), one Vauxhall Vectra (Mark Lemmer) for £5 and last of all, a 1999 Ford Focus WRC car of Colin McRae and Nicky Grist for £10. That puts my tally to 46 model cars!

Cleland 1998 1:43 Vectra

Today I managed to get a Cleland 1998 1:43 scale Vectra at the show, and whats more I also got it signed by the great man himself, on my show guide I managed to get JC's autograph, as well as Matt Neal's and Jason plato's. Anyone who went, did you have a go at the Karting? It was the most fun I have had driving a Kart ever!

Wait, are you talking about the CLK or C-Class Benzs? The DTM CLKs can be had on Ebay for @$17-20 US dollars. I would love to own a DTM C-Class or Alfa though!! If anyone sees one of those for 20 pounds, I would be interested in one as well!!

Hey, are there cheap copies of John Tipler's book, Touring Car for cheap? I heard it can be found for 5 pounds or so???

oohh, you mean the CLK. There is no such thing as the C-Class coupe, at least, not until later in the year.
