Ecclestone should not be able to get away with this!!!
Here is a link to an interesting article which i found rather disturbing.
http://www.formula1.com/fight/fight.html Isnt it enough that he has ripped enough people off already, without having to pput other small companies out of business?? |

I feel for them. But I think Bernie and the Circus will win out in the long run. Obviously he has bought his way out of trouble with the EU, holds every GP worldwide as a hostage, holds every F1 reporter's credentials over their heads like a carrot, and no one within the byzantine maze of the FIA or F1 Holdings will ever step out of line for fear of being crushed by the Roaring Dwarf and his cronies. Its not right, nor fair, but it is most likely.

F1 Antitrust
Formula1.com is stating its case once again. They really have been treated badly by Bernie & Co., but seem determined to persevere. In the end, I believe their case will prevail and they will at least be able to keep their URL which it appears Bernie & Co. just never bothered to register when registration first started. A costly mistake, however the affair turns out. Whether Formula1.com can obtain damages or at the minimum relief from the anticompetitive practices it alledges Bernie & Co. have engaged in is much more problematical. This would require a suit by Formula1.com against Bernie & Co. which, so far as I know, has not been filed despite all of their public complaints and complaints to the EC DC.
With respect to the EC DC's investigation of Bernie and Co., I believe that eventually there will be some pretty severe sanctions imposed by the Directorate. It will take a long time, but eventually the bureaucrats will prevail because that anticompetitive activities of Bernie and Co. have been so egregiously wrong. If the DC can stop the General Electric/Honeywell merger in its tracks, then there is no question it has the horse power to prevail over Bernie & Co. Time will tell. |

I would be sad if they Ecclestone managed to win the case. Formula1.com is one of my favourite sites, and i currently love it so much that i have it set as my homepage. i would be sad to see it go.
