Well if the xfinity (second division for non NASCAR peeps) is anything to go by it simply increased pressure to charge hard to the front of the pack leading to a huge accident just before the end of part one. Thankfully no one hurt and no repeat later on.

Great to see BMW supporting a team again, and what a great livery IMO!

New car for them I reckon. They did hint they may change from the Toyota, might also explain why Handy have gone off on their own!

I reckon it will be that. I can't imagine a new car, they have used toyota and avensis hash tags on instagram this month, surely they wouldn't use those if a new car was on the horizon. Maybe they have facelifted their car

Nice.

Aero package is significantly different, new over the rear wheels too.

Also, a BTCC car in camo during testing. How cool is that?!

The lines around the rear arches are definitely different to previous years.

Yeah, considering the rear aero has been changed they had to make new molds anyway, so I'd be surprised to see the old rear there.

Yes - but when you take that wing/mount, and attach it to your car, it depends on the panel as to how the wing will sit.

The 2017 speedworks looks like the bootlid is different, hence the wing being attached in a different angle/location.

Are the following wings mounted the same....

don't be daft. they are not bootlids. if its mounted on a tailgate or hatch obviously it uses a different mounting position and attachment to a bootlid. now show me a NGTC bootlid mount thats different from other NGTC bootlid mounts?

The new Avensis looks great - although to me looks a little longer?

Hopefully Handy and Motorbase will do the same!

Apologies, perhaps it's the viewpoint of the image?

But the new picture it looked to my (admittedly amateur) eyes to be slanted at a different angle.

Anyway, the main thing is Speedworks have invested in a new body kit, one that keeps the car looking fresh and hopefully performing well. I also like how it builds up to a full livery reveal and that they have found funds to test in Portugal.
