Oulton seem to be one of the most prolific suppliers of marshals to the 24Hr! So we are hoping to join forces with our Scottish fellows and have a complete section of Silverstone for ourselves! Fun! No? Soooo Gravel Monkey is our liason to Alan Tyson Chief Marshal. Join in and add to the atmosphere!

Not many of us coming now - only 24 from Knockhill, 7 from Croft & 1 from Ireland in our group!!! Mind you still waiting on 3 to confirm on top of this.

So far 12 flaggy/observers, 16 incident bods, 3 pits & 1 assembly / flaggy once 24hr kicks off within this lot.

Only 6 weeks, 2 days and 1 hr till we arrive at Silverstone, a couple of hours on top of this if Garry decides to get beer at Tesco Towcester.

not checked exact numbers but we are up nr the 20 mark with some more still sending in details. the numbers between our two lots has run this event in the past!!!!

looks like 86 to qualify according to the website. 65 confirmed entries and 21 promised deposits. looking more and more like the event to be at this year!

Glad you haven't forgotten about me!! Really looking forward to this event... even if it's only half as good as everyone is saying, it will still be incredible! Paul I just need to check a few details with you about meeting up in Scotland, I'll PM you some time this evening when I can get my head around these ferry timetables - hope that's alright with you.

OK, now I'm confused....

I'm neither Scottish, an Oulton'ite or a BOB but want to be there. Just who do I volunteer to as I like to Flag??

p.s. has anyone found out yet if we can leave our caravans there for the week between LMES and BRITCAR or if not, does anyone know who to ask?

Hi Stuart..
Volunteer to PIEMAN aka Alan Tyson or via Julians site with the BRSCC MIDS form..
Not sure about your caravan as LMES camping is likely to be outside behind Copse.. the Britcar camping is likely to be inside on the grass by the runway.. you could try an email to pam.dearn@silverstone.co.uk to ask..

Regards Roy

Pam, of BRSCC I think, is the person you need to speak to.

I arranged with her last year to leave my car between the BRITCAR and LMES events. I was told I could leave my car in one of the car parks at the main entrance, inside the security fence, and close to the Security gates/gatehouse.
