5 hours difference. 1:35PM local EST, so IMSA TV at 6:35PM GMT and you’ll be grand.

No ads, Radio Le Mans. Boom!

Edit: works out well, finishes a little before the football.

BOP ALERT!

What is the incentive to debut a new gt3 car at Daytona if you are going to be bopped out of the race? Last year BMW and Corvette were slow and this year the Ferrari, Lmabo and Porsche(very) are slow. I understand IMSA trying to be conservative and work the BOP up from a lower point
This is biggest race of the season in the US and most be demotivating to stand no chance due to BOP
These companies could debut the new gt3s later on in the season or if they want race data they can debut one or two new cars and leave their established teams(i.e Risi, Pfaff, Iron Lynx) to run with the old model so they stand a better chance.

Do we have enough info to truly say at this point? The true BoP game is played right up until the green flag.

You've literally described what they all know going in, the GT3s have provisional homologation and IMSA can adjust up to the start of the race at their discretion. The teams already know this and could skip the round if they desired or felt it was unfair. But remember you still have to make it 24 hours and cars to get taken out but others incompetence and Merriman is in the race right?

thanks, that helps (a bit).
So the race is 1.40 to 1.40? odd time!
No preamble and 20 minutes wrap-up after?
I don't get the two listings on the Sunday which are identically named...

For him or us?

Also, update your class colors. MDK has moved to GTD Pro, sounds like for all enduros as well.

No dropdown menus! I confess I don't have the patience to scroll right down every page - like looking for a needle in a haystack.

RACER Magazine has released a digital magazine exclusive to the Rolex24. Pretty cool, figured I'd share here. https://www.racermagazine-digital.co...preview/Cover/

Listening in on FP1 on IMSA radio, following along on alkamel timing etc, a good number of red flags so far for minor offs and technicals. So far, with 30 minutes to go as of posting this, the new porker 911s seem to still be struggling () along with the new 296s. THe new Lambos look to have picked up some pace on average across GT Pro and Am. Anyone willing to place bets on Ferrari and Porsche doing just fine during the actual race?

I forgot we had on track action today!!!

And i turn it on to find a Red Flag! Seems to have been a GT thing this time.

Edit; and the Porsche and Ferrari will do fine with constant yellows they won't have time to drop down the order on pace before the car "comes alive" in the dark.

I've subscribed to RLM calendars in the past and then copied what I wanted to my regularly used calendar. Really helps me for Bathurst.

Bottom of main page RS2 for IMSA / Daytona.

I'm on the correct coast of the states so the time frame is simple for me

Indeed! Lots of practice today, qualy for Pilot challenge and make it your mission to NOT miss race 1 for the mx5s at 5:30pm est! I think for the mx5 races, you can watch on IMSA tv without a geo-block.

Listening to IMSA radio, it sounds like a nasty frontal impact for the Winward Merc at turn 2, doesn't sound good. I'm assuming the turn 2 area is the litte esses bit before the Int'l Horseshoe? I hope they can repair it in time for the race.

I haven't heard anything from the team yet, but it would be a shame to lose one of the class favorites.

Well, here's your answer. Must have been some impact! Lucas Auer was the driver.
