Rovanpera + 2.06.3 9. A. McRae + 3.21.1 10. Delecour + 4.31.2 - Hyundai's Freddy Loix retired with a clutch problem - Peugeot's Gilles Panizzi stopped in the stage to change a puncture - Marcus Grönholm (Peugeot) stopped in the section with an engine problem, and was forced to retire - Petter Solberg (Subaru) stopped in the section with a clutch problem. However he is continuing |

Latest is that Carlos Sainz has had a puncture in SS3 and has lost some time when he had to change it.

Loeb + 17.15.5 Citroen's Sebastien Loeb broke a shock absorber during the stage and had to stop and fix it. Somehow Gardemeister and Radstrom are out of the list with privateers and Group N cars coming in, I haven't heard any news about them though |

The Ford Focus' of Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz moved ahead of the opposition on the first competitive section of the second leg this morning, as Tommi Makinen lost time with a broken shock absorber on the Subaru. More at http://www.worldrallynews.com/ |

SS 6 has been cancelled due to weather conditions.
The helicopters couldn't fly because the clouds were too low. |
