Craig Lowndes, the voice.
It seems that Mr.Lowndes is going from race driver to a......voice actor! Craig will be in UK made childrens program, Roary The Racing Car, voicing Conrod, a "big throaty V8 Aussie Champ".

Conrod would have to be a V8 sedan, a sort of cartoon V8 Supercar would be a good start.
My son loves Roary, and has a few dvds and other stuff they market on all kids shows now.

i watched it once when my Mum was baby sitting a neighbour's young boy and i thought to myself i would of loved this when i was a kid.

My 4 year old nephew is a huge fan of Roary the Racing car, he has several toys and watches the DVDs over and over again.
This might lead to a future career for Lowndesy, I can't think of a current V8 driver who would be more suited to this gig. |

I noticed a Rory the Racing car display in the paddock area on Saturday, and PLENTY of parents and kids enjoying it, until it rained on the queue!
