Weekend Of A Champion

With a free afternoon after the Grand Prix was cancelled, I found this unopened gem in my motorsport collection of DVD’s.

Roman Polanski ‘s Weekend Of A Champion, story of Jackie Stewart at Monaco in 1971.

A fascinating look at Monaco nearly fifty years ago, not to mention the fashion, the basic facilities, drivers and team managers.

As Jackie says in those days driving was dangerous and sex was safe.

Interesting insight into Jackie and the way he went about racing.
