There is P2P but both drivers can use it and it's limited.

The Maldonado governor has made some wild claims: IndyCar hasn't raced outside United States over 30 years, and the race will be held in early 2019. Par for the course.

IndyCar still race in Canada. However the last race outside North America was the 2011 Indy Japan 300, at Motegi, which was won by Scott Dixon.

Actually, the São Paulo Indy 300 was last held in 2013.

It would be good if they could attract KIA/Hyundai/Genesis.
Or Alfa Romeo or BMW.
Or bring the cost down so they can attract smaller manufacturers like Mazda, Subaru or Jaguar.

Mazda was the best choice I thought but then they withdraw from Road to Indy. So Mazda is out.
Hyundai would be nice, but I doubt it.
And BMW? Forget it!

The boring oval races should have prevented that.

I'm sure Dallara will be looking into how to improve the oval racing, during the long off season.

Indy 500 wasn't boring, and there were record numbers of passes at Phoenix, Iowa, and Gateway. Not to say the aero package can't be improved but the oval races generally kept me interested.

For those of you, who are interested in what other series IndyCar drivers race in, RH-R co-drove the winning Cadillac DPi in their first win at Petit Le Mans, Road Atlanta. So congrats to him.

RH-R is probably the most under-rated driver in the Indycar series.
Other present/former Indycar drivers at Petit LM:
Spencer Pigot: P3
Tristan Vautier, Christian Fittipaldi: P4
Graham Rahal, Helio Castroneves: P5
Scott Sharp: P11
Numerous others placed lower.

Ford GT drivers Scott Dixon and Ryan Briscoe finished 5th in class, and Sébastien Bourdais finished 7th.
