In a race without standouts, I'll toss my vote the direction of Massa, for probably the last time. Good race from him to finish 8th and hold off Bottas and Grosjean at the end.
I imagine Hamilton will get plenty of votes, but the drop down the order was his own fault and he could not recover his grid slot. Verstappen was good, but that last defense rubbed me the wrong way. Rosberg won at the slowest possible speed, but while commendable, that's neither impressive nor exceptional. |

My vote goes to Ocon for what he has done with Manor.

Rosberg, drove a faultless race. He must be under a lot of pressure not to mess up, what with the WDC in his sights.

As I can't really think of any reason to vote for anyone else, I'll vote Ocon for showing his team mate the way home.....

I went for Rosberg - not so much for what he did but more that I couldn't think of anyone else that really stood out.

NR for me. i suppose you could say that he won the race by the first corner and didnt have much to worry about but i actually think he won this race (or at least the psychological race) well before he even touched down in Japan.
no doubt Lewis will be back, he has the talent for it, but for the last several races its looking like Nico has found a way to break his team mate. |

I voted for Max Verstappen, but it could as well have been Gutierrez, he did everything wrong. Almost crashed out his team mate in the first lap, wrong strategy and have a completely unnecessary spin. It actually was funny, therefore a possible (negative) driver of the day.

Another vote for Mr. Nico Iceberg. Just a superb performance, pole position, good start and decent race pace. What more can you want? Looks like that WDC is all but his. So close now.
Special mention to Max and also Vettel(I think Ferrari probably messed up their strategy). |

Nico a superb and focussed performance for the entire weekend from him, although he is far from being a favourite driver of mine ..
