Why do they keep using that AWS tyre meter? Pirelli has said it's junk and not related to any data at all.
Damn, Grosjean had been circulating picking up construction materials hasn't he? Plummeting like a stone, 5 to 14 and pitting. |

Ah, steward's inquiry for Red Bull for drying the track at Albon's grid slot at the start. Really guys?
Lewis has lapped up to Ricciardo in 9th? Looks like Mags in 8th actually Now Vettel in 5th, damn Last edited by broadrun96; 19 Jul 2020 at 14:33. |

Never good to hear on the radio.
LH 'what's going on' Response 'Hang on, I'll find out myself' Your radio was heard by Toto and he wants you to play with the softs for the end and fastest lap sir. |

Lap record on final lap for Lewis in 8th win, 3rd on the trot.
And Max holds on to 2nd. Mags gets Haas those all important points in the bank. |

Just five wins off the MS record. Never thought that would get approached in my lifetime.

Congrats to Lewis and a sterling drive from Max, all things considered.

Although it's getting dull and the midfield seem to settle after about the first third and then it's maintain what you've built. Thankfully some of the drivers don't listen that well so we get a bit of battling but not much. Turns the GP in to a watch the first 15 or so, fast forward through and see what guys try at the end. Or hope for rain to mix things up but that fed the old troll to think sprinklers But with all the tech and modeling data they have it's to be expected. Would rather cut that connection to the factory and make them do it with a few data points and feedback from the driver. Doubt that would hurt MB at all with Lewis knowing what he likes and communicating it and Bottas similar. |

F1 could do with bonfire of red tape and regulations, all these post race protests make a mockery of the races when F1 is trying to re-build the season.
If RP is breaking the rules for which protests have been threatened by other teams back in March, the FIA have had since then AND FP1 in Austria to see what RP are actually running and if it conforms, we are we still palying the protest games after race 3 and if the FIA kick the decision into the long grass, will we see this after every race? |

Utter domination by Mercedes - both Ferrari's lapped - they aready have over double the WCC of RBR and 3 times that of 3rd place McLaren already.
Ferrari's season is over already. Despite Verstappen's best efforts RBR are not close enough to challenge and whatever regulations we have, it seems that for whatever reason in recent F1 can't seem to get 2 or 3 teams at the same level of competition at the same time - so we end up with single team dominance in waves. |

Apparently teams can't use the radio to speak to drivers on the formation lap? So they can't change the strategy and call the drivers in to change tires and guessing they have the radio calls from the team telling them to come in. Wonder what that penalty will be. 5 seconds would take their points away I think. Last edited by broadrun96; 19 Jul 2020 at 18:09. |

10 second penalty for both Haas cars, Mags keeps 1 vital point in 10th. Grosjean dropped until 16th.
Honestly I get the rule at the start of the idea. Teams telling drivers how to adjust the clutch or change settings based on their launch on the formation lap was too much and should have been restricted. But calling a driver in to give up the grid spot and start from pit lane in changing conditions? Don't think that's the spirit of the rule. |

RBR have been cleared over the leaf-blower incident.

It is these sort of driver/engineer gambles that give back of the grid teams a chance of a point. In my view it is not driver assistance, a rule that needs reviewing. Urgently. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk |

It would not be F1 with out the stewards making things awkward for everyone at the end. Lucky Max was in form to stop the Mercedes running away with it again
