If Race News didn’t work a few years back, why will it work now when the Supercars circus of online media has only become more crowded?

Too many magazines are struggling which is a shame. They've been very influential in motorsport

Watching paint dry is more entertaining than any Australian motor racing podcast.

Part of the problem podcast wise in Aussie Motorsport is that 90% of them are Supercars based so they all end up talking about the same stuff week after week. The same stories getting discussed, the same results getting talked about, the same people being interviewed on Speedcafe/Full credit to the noise, AA rev limiter, Drivers Seat, The Race Torque/On the grid, Sleuth/Motorsport News podcast etc etc….

Outside of that there’s what?

There’s one podcast on TCR Australia, the grass roots racing podcast, general V8 Sleuth podcast with old interviews…..

It’s a crowded but extremely narrow pool…..

The Australian Muscle Magazine podcast has some interesting interviews and Motor Racing Passion, hosted by a Tenth-Tenther no less is worth a listen.

Someone close to me won letter of the month in Australian Muscle Car Magazine.

The winner apparently gets a prize, but said person has heard diddly squat from said magazine.

So many pilots either winless in V8Supercar, or at least a generation since they last won…

Story Here

It’s funny, the talking heads talk about the apparent lack of performance from some pilots, yet more than a couple on this list are exalted as experienced and past champions in this or other discipline so their continuing participation in the championship is appropriate…

There are a couple in the nominated ‘25 roster who are arguably underperforming, in their results, relative to other Chev or Ford mounted competitors.

Let’s see how many stories can talk them up as being nearlymen.. again..
