sevi should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Porsche out already of 24hr

The first casuality has been Fitzy in the Porsche he is sharing with Mahir??? whats his name and Jimmy. He went into a sand trap and right into a wall. The thing is a write off, they are going to use Mahir's Nations Cup car for the race.
The holden is quickest with Bowe second and the Porsche third and fourth .

At least they will still be in the race though, is the Supercup car race-prepared though, and if it was already at Bathurst, why wasn't it racing (unless it was there for the obvious, as a spare )

In the 2nd Qualifying session the Bowe Ferrari has gone fastest.

Sad news, shame the field is so small this year
I hope the race can make a name for itself in years to come, I am going to be positive, and optimistic, it's a great concept, it will work if people let it.

Interesting concept is Natsoft's 'live timing' - they are updating the result page every lap - but only problem is - hothing in the HTML header to force the browser to re-load it for you - you have to manually refresh every page.

Someone forgot to put their thinking cap on....

If you understand timing you can, sort of, follow what is happening - but it isn't easy...especially as some of the laps have been late (and a couple missed altogether...)

It is hard to tell who is coming last, so we can work out who is out. I did just get a message saying car 52 went into a wall at turn 7, so I suppose who ever is above him is last?
RT?
How sh!t is the offical site, they should be ashamed of that, particualy as the net or sms are the only way to find out what is happening.

I just rang Chris Nixon - their media guy - at the track - it seems there are some Journos in Mexico with CART who want updates. They wanted to know if any reports would be issued during the event - the answer from Chris - No!

I can't believe it!

Re positions - no not that simle - you have to also look at their elapsed race time and see how old it is compared to the leaders.

At present I see cars 52, 888 and 31 out of the event - or at least stopped for at least ab hour - they may well be working on them but I have no idea what happened to the Ferrari though.

Marcus - no - go dirct to this URL otherwise you have to work through a maze:

http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/re...1/2002.MOUN.R6

BUT - it is NOT truly live - you have to update or refresh the pages yourself - they couldn't even change the HTML coding to force it to be done for you!

So far for this event I have received over 435 emails notifying me of race results becoming available (we get emailed whenever a new race result is posted on the Natsoft site...)
