Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Which teammate battle are you looking forward to?

There is a similar thread, but this one is about which teammate battle you are most looking forward to seeing, not which is most effective for the team?

M Schumacher vs Barrichello This is the forgotten battle,I think this year with no radio communication Ruebens will see it as his last chance to win the WDC and as he showed on many ocassions last season he has a better turn of speed than Schumacher. With the new qualifying this year if he can get pole and MS gets shuffled down the grid RB will be uncatchable. He will have to show his hand early and try and get a points break on Michael in the early races so there will be no pressure(and the FIA will be on his side, watching the team ordrers thing) on him to hand up to MS every time he gets infront.Either way with Ferrari bringing in new talent like Massa to the team Rueben must realise his days as a seat warmer are nearly over, its 2003 or never for the WDC.

Don K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Montoya vs Ralf.

For the last 1 1/2 season, they have been even.
This is probably the last year they can (marginally) be seen as "young drivers".

If Montoya beats Ralf this year, Ralf will have to look for another team if he want to win the WDC.
On the other hand, if Ralf beats Montoya this year and Montoya again fails to win a race, Juan will have lost his advantage over the younger talents like Alonso, Raikkonen and Heidfeld.

Villeneuve Vs. Button ofcourse!
No offense, but i can't wait till Jacques kicks that Brittish bum's ass.

Also, JPM Vs. Ralfy should be entertaining.

What if JPM beats Ralf without win a single race?
Yes It can be interested to watch the battle between them
I am sure of Frank have already told Ralf he will not renew his contract, maybe Frank will dismiss the both drivers

apparently radio transmissions are still allowed, but they are open to the FIA and TV viewers.

Hopefully Rafe and Monty will show us some stupidly hilarious situations, such as Europe, Italy, and best of all, USA, dropping them down behind Sauber.

CLIP THOSE WINGS!

Webber vs Pizzonia

both have potenial and both with lost to prove - Antonio needs to prove he belongs in f1 and Mark needs to prove he dosn't need to be teamates with yooung to be fast.

IMHO Mark will be better than Antonio.

Doesn't matter.
If Montoya beats Ralf this year, he has beaten him twice in a row.
Ralf will know that he is beaten. By a driver with less experience in F1. That will give him a psychological blow. Which means that he will not beat Montoya as long as they stay in the same team.

On the other hand, Juan is the most agresive of the two.
So one would expect Juan to win more races, and Ralf to get more points from lower positions.
During each of the previous seasons, Ralf has won more races than Juan. Last year, Juan did score more points.
If Ralf beats Juan without Juan winning any races, Ralf will have beaten Juan three times in a row where it comes to victories (presumably Juans home ground). This means that Juan will need a couple of years before he can beat Ralf "endgültig" (sorry, don't know the english word). Starting next year, Juan and Ralf will probably belong to the older half of the grid. So unless both Raikkonen and Alonso perform worse than expected next year, in this case it's unlikely that Juan will ever reach a situation in which he dominates the grid like Michael has been doing recently.

However, suppose Ralf beats Juan, and Juan wins more races than Ralf. In that case, we know that Juan's agresive driving style does pay. And we know that Ralf driving style brings a lot of points. So that should give us a great battle for the 2004 season.

Obviously looking forward to JPM beating Rafe, but ultimately voted for HH-F vs NH. This imo is Nicks last year to prove himself and land a top team drive, but HH-F ain't slow and could be the spoiler in Nicks ointment.

It would be great to see:

JPM beating Ralf
Pizzonia beating Webber

It would be greater to see:

Button beating Villeneuve
Wilson beating Verstappen

It would be awesome to see Jacques prove his critics wrong and see him destroying Button. No offense to Jense (no pun intended), but I prefer Jacques.

I fully expect Montoya to comfortably have the upper hand - he is gaining experience all the time and has more impact on the car this year. The only unknown is his 'hero or zero' qualifying runs which could leave his down the grid a few times.

Villenneuve-Button; I cannot wait for Jacques to prove what an ass he is.

I'm interested in the Sauber duo, as I am a fan of both, yet if HHF blows off Nick, the younger driver's career is over for all intents and purposes.

I also hope that DC will show well against Kimi in their second year together, but I am not optimistic.

Villennuve V Button

Being a brit i have the luxary of 4 drivers to support this year...so thankfully..Button doesnt have to be one of them!!! I think Jacques is gonna destroy him, providing the team are fair with their departing driver. Id imagine Button will still keep his drive though, but for god sake...get Villennuve in a decent car!!!

and as for Thorstone's comments.......... I think HHF will be more concerned with Beating his team mate than 'Blowing Him Off' ..!!!!!! as too will Villenuve and Kimi!!!

Villeneuve won't beat Button.
Barrichello will get slaughtered by Schu.
Kimi will trash DC.
Montoya will trounce Ralf.
Heidfeld to have the upper hand on Heinz Harald.
Webber to walk all over Pizzonia.
Panis will anialate Da Matta.

That's my pick.

HANAA KIMI!
