SRCTRUCKS should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
looking for Renault 5 Special Saloon / GT car

Can anyone help !!
Trying to locate the ex Jim McGaughay Renault 5,
last known to be in the south owned by the late Roy Gibson
current owner & contact no. would be appreciated

We have a pretty knowledgeable and resourceful bunch of people on here, but perhaps not in this case!


I'll stick the thread at the top of the page for a couple of weeks to see if anyone can come forward with some info for you.

rallycrosscraig has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I remember this car winning everything one year, sponsored by FES?

maybe it was converted back into what ever it started of as?

My memory was that Jim re-bodied the car as an 037 Lancia?

I reemember the '037', he had some ace battles in that with Jeff Wilson's F5000 BMW M1 clone?

So you reckon the chassis was the same and he just swapped the R5 shell for the 037 version then?

Guys
Renault was March based, with driver sitting in middle.
Lancia was built on a Toleman Chassis,
Which i believe was an ex Jimmy Jack car
