Ralf to miss Monaco GP?
I just read somewhere that the williams team sent Ralf home for him to recuperate after his shunt during the practice session yesterday. Does that mean he'll miss the GP, or will he be back tomorrow?.
It would be a real bummer not to see Ralf racing on sunday, but I guess if he is injured, then it probably is best for him to miss the race so he can recuperate. |

Ralf was told to use today to recuperate but they believe he'll be OK for qualifying on Saturday.
I'd be very, very surprised if he misses the race, though he might be in some discomfort at the end if he's hurt the muscles in his neck. |

I doubt he'll miss the race - as long as he rests between now and qualifying and between qualifying and the race he should be okay to compete.
And to correct you, Speed (as the resident Ralfisti must do ), Ralf lives in Austria but he hasn't sold his apartment in Monaco. |

Now the question becomes whether Ralf will miss the end of the race.

Talking of going home. I recall a driver who was revered more than MS. He hit the wall just before the tunnel. Nobody saw him until Monday. Apparently he'd got out of the car and sloped off home to lick his wounds.
As to reaching the end of the race. Will JPM? |

Peter, on the subject of that "revered driver" who stuffed his car at the tunnel entrance and went home rather than face the team...
Has it ever occured to you to wonder how he got back into his apartment? Was he carrying his front door key just in case? Did he have a housekeeper who would open the door for him? Had he let the place out to some buddies to spectate from the balcony? Or did he sneak round the back and pop the kitchen window? One of the great mysteries of modern Formula 1, I think! |

He might as well miss the race - it's not like he's gunna win it or anything.

Yes Rubino,
God has spoken to Rubens, we have ourselves seen the glory of His work in the vessel that is Rubens. Riding the track of the undeserving. Glorious stuff indeed. |

It's only a matter of time untill Amoffat admits to having been a closet Ralf fan all this time.
