You have to pause RLM for quite a while to get it synced up to the pictures but it's worth it.

Wonder what they could have done without the speed restrictions; 8:10 could have easily been reached I think

#35 Nissan and #3 Mercedes didn't make it into Top 30? Interesting. We could be up for another of Nissan's "Al Buncombe overtakes half the field on the first lap" videos...

None of the top 15 are cars that will drop off the pace when an 'am' driver gets in either, this is going to be very interesting tomorrow (if only they were allowed to overtake on the straights...).

No warm up tomorrow morning I notice. I'm sure there usually is. Ah well, gives me more time for breakfast.

They've retired it so no it won't be back (they said they could fix it but it'd be unsafe).

Woke up this morning with a horrible feeling that this race is going to get decided by who gets pinged least for speed limit infractions. Among other things, of course. Maybe I'm just being confused by the sun.

Nope, doesn't look like that. Everyone raced really well within the speed limits in the VLN race in late April and this weekend's sessions so far. I'm not a fan of those speed limit zones, but they are the rules now, and the drivers know how not to speed in those zones by now, and if there will be some who do, then it'll be their own fault.

Btw,
1-10km/h speeding = 92 seconds stop and go penalty,
11-30km/h = 212s,
31-50km/h = 332s,
more than 50 = black flag and license removal

Good to hear that Dobson is ok

Interestingly, looks like Lucas Luhr to start #25 instead of Martin; wonder if they're saving him for rain or just later on, when it's spread out a bit more, if so.
