I've got a mate attending. I told him I think a Honda will win, but I'd still prefer to see Stoner up there

Hang on,
Give credit where credit is due. Didn't England beat Australia 3 - 0 in the ODI finals Pro Racer? And what's with the really long thread names... |

with 1km start-finish straight .. horsepower is never critical .. ..
Rossi ahead of Pedrosa .. hope it won't rain though |

Anyway, I think Stoner can go for the win at any circuit. Problem with Donington is the straight might not be long enough to power past Rossi or Pedrosa, so this time he might have to do a real pass. If he does another rocket start as he has been doing this season he might not even have to do that. Pedrosa, Rossi and Stoner for the win. The fight is shaping up nicely. A shame Pedrosa is a bit behind point wise. |

I am threatening to close this thread down on the grounds that there are too many terms being floated around that I don't know!

That figures. This would be a good time for me to deny my Dutch heritage...

Stoner, then daylight. I'd love to see another race like Catalunya, but it will probably be a once in a lifetime.
If it rains, Vermeulen. I'm not biased but they are hot property right now. |

The national bias thing is an interesting aspect I think. I do admit to being a Nicky Hayden fan. But the only reason being is that he won at Laguna in 2005, which was my first Moto GP exerpience. That just blew me away. I didn't even know all the riders at that point. I've been hooked on the sport ever since. I can honestly say that I prefer a good race over some American winning. If an American wins a close fought contest, then cool. Of course, with that said, I could care less if Hopkins or Edwards win. Don't care for either of them.
My question to anyone, are you a Moto GP fan first? I just want to see them battle it out like last Sunday. These guys are freaking awesome! |

I'd like to see Stoner win, but i dont think he will, probably another top-4 battle like it was at Catalunya though. I think Honda might have something for this race, i can see Pedrosa pulling something off to get himself closer to Stoner and Rossi in the championship.
