So Sato's seat is at risk!
All we have heard from Eddie recently is that Takuma will be racing for Jordan next year and his new engine did'nt change anything.
I was just reading this story at ITV.com and found this quote interesting. Quote:

Well, Japanese companies should sponsor the fella after seeing his performance on home soil...

EJ was interviewed on Sky before the race and he said he had a contract with Taku , and he would be driving....but he looked very uncomfotable whilst saying it.....then on ITV , he said that he hope that corporate Japan would now get behind Takuma and give Jordan some more Yen as he wanted to keep him for next year .
????????.......i think it comes down to the fact that Jordan is not in a good state financially and if he can scrape some money out of anyone , then he's going to try damm hard to do so. |

After today, Japanese sponsors will probably line up wanting to support the next 'Rising Son'.
I hope he does keep his seat. Better than 'Old Man' Irvine getting the seat. |

He did good in Japan, BUT: he cost the team a lot of money(parts) during the season, and since EJ does'nt have that big a budget.........

I believe Sato's future and Irvines had been decided before this race, reading between the lines Sato in my view will not be driving the Jordan and Eddie Irvine will.
The gap left leaves McNish taking his chances with Jaguar to replace Irvine or Del a Rosa who will also be dropped. Regards Guy |

I think it's also very obvious that Webber is going to Jaguar to replace Irvine.
