Am I right in thinking that the all-new DTM kicked off yesterday ? Anyone any ideas what happened ?

Sounds like the racing was good - anyone know when/if it gets onto the TV? Programme times on German TV will do since my parents receive the German channels by satellite.

Maisie I can give you the dates the DTM is racing. I believe every race will be broadcasted by ZDF, thats Germany 2 TV channel.

I have not heard if Speedvision is going to air any DTM races, but if they do it may well be a part of their Motorsport Mundial show.

As far as the racing went, it looks as if Bernd Schneider started up where he left off in the DTM once more. He is definitely one of the best touring drivers out there.

I'd love to see that, Maisie. Sadly I don't have satelite no more - had cable installed, so don't get the foreign channels on that. Or British Eurosport

I'd definitely be interested in seeing any video coverage of the DTM because I think you've all worked out by now that I don't have satellite!

I watched both the DTM races!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are showing it on ARD and ZDF, just look on teletext for the listings, if you can speak german!!. Or you can go to the the zdf/ard websites and translate it. They are even showing the qualifying sessions Live from the next race. www.zdf.com www.ard.com www.dtm.de

Speedvision did show a brief bit of DTM coverage on their Motorsport Mudial program. It centered on the preseason testing of the Benz CLK-DTM. I hope Speedvision will eventually show the DTM here, or if not, then maybe Fox Sports West, which showed races from the STW with english commentary during the 98 season. I hope Speedvision doesn't restrict DTM coverage to a brief 15 spurt on MM.
