<Hastily tries to undo his mistake.>

Assen is a great track, like it lots more then Zandvoort, but it was more a jab at my walloon countrymen, Esper.
To be honest, it is the Spa of the two, isn't it.

Now, isn't it a lovely day today?

I'm staying out of the Wallonian/Flemish/French discussion!

The HRA website says that the two 911 drivers escaped with minor injuries. I guess that's a tribute to modern rollcages, seats and belts. It was the most violent accident I've seen live for many years.

After it happened, I saw a piece of red bodywork (from one of the 911s, as it turned out) lying on the circuit. It looked like the front end of a Sports 2000. Cue a frantic dash to the scene by Delta and me. Thankfully "Lettie" - our endurance-spec Sports 2000 survived unscathed.

Yes and as usuall everyone was moaning because the marshalls would not let the pit crews on the pit wall for 2 laps. Funny that, no one said anything after the crash.
What is odd if a race starts at the GP startline then you can stay on the old startline pit wall but you are not allowed to stand on the GP pit wall for 2 laps." does this make sence"

That is the typical way of working for the Belgian pit marshals. They claim that during the first two laps it is far too dangerous to stand at the pit wall.
And those Porsches crashed at lap 3 I think.

What do you mean helping me out AGAIN Terry?

The Walloon word for whatever we are looking for could be "vainqueur de la classe". Or sommink.
Not easy to understand the natives over there. (Another walloon joke).

So do I esper, so do I.
Deep down (about 6 feet) they are great people.

Seriously, lots of Flemish people have always been annoyed with me because I have so many Walloon friends since I started in motorsport.
Daft people those Flemish.

Oh wait, I'm, err...

Anyway, ...

Not realy in hibenation as i read you at least every week ...
But i'm not always happy with some political tribune on all the spa thread.
My grandfather always said : " Remember, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all! "

See you at the six hours meeting
