I would never expect Barcelona to be a humdinger, but watching the Spanish Grand Prix is a whole lot better than many alternatives (I'd already mowed the lawn).
The safety car spoilt things as usual and seemed to be completely unnecessary. The so-called virtual safety car (how about calling it a safety speed limit?) would have been sufficient. I watched the C4 highlights so naturally they jumped through the safety car period but it looks like 10% of the race was lost just to clear up a couple of lightly damaged cars. |
