ETCC/BTCT car's BHP?

Having just watched the ETCC coverage on Eurosport, I have to say that the ETCC cars look and sound great, are they faster than the BTCT cars? They certainly looked it, although it was a high speed circuit.
PS didn't that track in Sweden look a complete dump?

ETCC/BTCC Cars are around 270BHP I think, they might be faster but only marginally.

Anderstorp looked rough mainly because there were quite a few large puddles on the grass.

The ETCC cars are faster around the track...

Anderstorp has a special enviroment, can't find the English word for the kind of land it has been built on... Though anyway, it was very bad weather which might have done its part for the "dump" look...

a swamp's predomintaley water I think, a marsh will be what you mean where it's just very soft ground..could be a peat bog as well.

Eddie_harasym should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
You know I was going to post something about the state of the track, but thought I might get shot down with things like, yeah but it spends so many months under a blanket of snow per year.

Is it one of the premier tracks in Sweden?

Anderstorp is a bit strange... It is the largest track in Sweden, it ran F1 during the late 70's. But its not until now, very late 90's and now, that it has started to get real big races...

The track in best condition today has to be Mantorp Park really. But Anderstorp I think will retake that position shortly, it certainly has got the best conditions for it...
