Thank you, Peter, sadly few show such consideration for my state of mind and mental equilibrium.
You are sir a GENTLEMAN, and I can offer no higher praise than that, despite what that other fellow who posts here says.

Salutations,

Bauble.

D'you think he'd be able to jump the waiting list?

I've got an idea- Mrs E buys Silverstone lease (out of her small change, I'm sure), BE takes over running the circuit and then we get to watch as he re-negotiates the GP hosting deal with Liberty.....

He could team up with Ron Dennis?

They kindly allow me to live here in return for feeding & cleaning for them.

Their mother was already here when we moved in 12 years ago. She soon presented us with six kittens, then left! I still have three ...oh, and two little ferals that pop in regularly. Being farming country, there's plenty of them.

It's always nice when a cat lets you have your chair or bed!

We only have the neighbours cats these days - some time ago the 'owner' was surprised to find 'their' cat sunbathing outside my barn/workshop and asked if he visited often, I was rather vague and didn't let her know that he'd slept on my bed the previous night as usual!

On a completely different note, I see that on another thread someone from Italy is seeking information about a car.

Would this come under the heading of "Gen Italia?"

I'm sure Viva can tell us with his knowledge of the language.

Are you not reading between the lines in some or Monsieur Elwins posts on his devotion to cats?

Do they have sheep in France?

Do you know why Max is called Midget Man?

What can you do in a Viva GT that you can't in a Austin Healy Sprite?

There is plenty to titillate if you seek out the nuances.

Just to add to Peter's kind efforts in broadening your education Bob, we do indeed have sheep in France - several of them live on the farm next door to me.

We do also have bulls, a very fine pair of Charolais' are in a field just up the lane. However, we do struggle to compete with Luton when it comes to bullshit...!!!

John, I was just about to take exception to your final comment when it dawned on me that you may not have been referring to the historical location of certain motor manufacturer, but could be meaning the closeness to a certain Christmas Tree decoration's home...
