Fire up them keyboards!!!!!!!

Dear Boycotters:

This weekend, as you well know, is our next boycott of NASCAR.com. It is time to fire up those keyboards an have an all out e-mail blitz to as many sponsors as possible. Also, e-mail all media in Alabama. Everyone make sure that you esp. e-mail Aaronsí Rents, since they are sponsoring both races this weekend. Letís also keep the message boards, on all sites, busy about the boycott.

Danny

P.S. Thanks for the support from some of the sites that are not affiliated with NASCAR.com. No names mentioned, you know who you are.

In the interest of supporting said anti-greed boycott, and for our races fans across the pond who don't get to watch the races live, I have been searching the net for MRN or PRN affiliates who do webcasts. Here are the sites I have found so far:

WFXX-FM 107.7 Andalusia, Alabama (Real Player, Good Sound Quality)
KRLA-AM Glendale, California (Windows Media Player, Good Sound Quality)
KTCT-AM 1050 San Francisco, California (Windows Media Player, Good Sound Quality)
WNDA AM 1490 Daytona Beach, Florida (Windows Media Player, Good Sound Quality)
WNDB AM 1150 Daytona Beach, Florida (Windows Media Player, Good Sound Quality)
WNAV-AM 1430 Annapolis, Maryland (Real Player, Poor Sound Quality)
WBFX-FM 101.3 Grand Rapids, Michigan (Windows Media Player, Bad Sound Quality)

There are more on the list I have, but I went through about 300 radio stations to find these 7, and I got pooped. I'll weed through some more later.

In the event that I may have missed some, here are the websites I am collating this information from, in case anyone wants to delve farther into it than I have so far, which is up to the end of the Michigan listings. If you find any more, please post them.

Sorry, Countrybo. Even if it is a sponsor of NASCAR Racing, advertising is not permitted here, unless it has something to do with the topic of discussion, which this post clearly did not. Please let their advertising agencies do what they get paid for, and don't post things like that here.

I usually listen to WNDB - Daytona Beach, but I still miss live timing.

I know... And I'm sorry I can't find some way to hook you up. Radio on the net was the best I could do.

Racecast, if you want it, you got to pay !

Countrybo, I did contact Aaron's Rent and thanked them for their sponsorship of Michael Waltrip's car in the Busch Series.
I also thanked them for sponsoring the races this weekend at Talladega.
I told them not to be discouraged by a few radicals who are fighting a losing battle,
I welcomed them to Nascar and asked them to please stay.

Face it, Racecast is not free anymore and no matter what you do, it won't free again.

Accept it and get over it !

I only wondered if two people could log in with the same name and use racecast.

To get into a debate is normal here hakkiman, LOL.

I think I kmow the answer to that question, at least I did.

There was a fellow posting a link to Racecast on another forum I go to, it worked a couple of monthes ago, he was told by an administator to quit posting the link and he did, I'll go back into the earlier posts because he did give an email address to get the link from him directly (by email), if I find it I will PM you.

Chalk another one up for me

Dan da Man has done it again. Dang, I am good with the media. Check out the Times Daily Newspaper in AL, which is a part of the NY Times to see the letter I wrote.

I like MRN

I listen to the race on MRN during the commercials on TV.
I know about crashes, cautions, lead changes, etc. before they show it on TV.

Danny,

Why don't you post a link to it? It's difficult to find something with that little information. Just saying "the Times Daily Newspaper in AL" doesn't give us much to go on.

I'm from Alabama and am pretty familiar with Alabama newspapers, and I can't find anything about racecast or NASCAR.COM anywhere, and I assume that is what you're talking about, since all 8 of your posts have been about how you're boycotting it.

I agree with the boycott, but it does get tedious after awhile. Isn't there anything about racing you would like to talk about? I boycott Racecast and NASCAR.COM every day, but other than my sig, which is just a joke anyway, that's about all I have to say about it. I mean, I love racing, but everyone knows NASCAR is all about money, and their official website is no different.

I did not post the link because I thought you was not allowed to. You had taken down one post of mine that I thought had links in it but I could be wrong. I have been sick lately an not quite myself, so I could be wrong about that. I shall put the link in then. It is: http://www.timesdaily.com/sports/sto...sstories.html. I had to search alittle but I found it. I did a search on their website using RaceCast and found it.

Yes, I am boycotting NASCAR.com, along with quite a few other people. I am sorry if I am redundant, I am just trying to keep the word out and get my point across. I know, that hearing about it ALL the time gets old but like I said, need to keep the word out.

I love racing and have many things I could talk about but when I get on a mission I attend to be heard. I am a HUGE Petty Enterprises fan. Anything to do with Petty, thatís me. I am going down to Daytona in July and hope to meet Richard while I am there. That is my dream to do before I pass from this earth. I have pit passes also, so that will help hopefully.

Everything is all about money. Money is the root of all evil and will take them down a notch if not two. Have ya happened to seen AOL/TW et alís stock prices lately? Not good at Ďtall!!!! Somebody is not doing something right. And in the end who pays for it? We, the consumer do. But, for NASCAR.com we pay for it on the front end.

Links to a pertinent Nascar or racing related site or story are fine. Posting complete articles isn't because of possible copyright infringements.

Links to promote a personal site or a service are against forum rules also. I can understand not promoting the service, but the personal site one is a bit cloudy to me. I have a personal site, that is Nascar related and it doesn't generate any revenue. All it shows is pictures that I've taken.

BTW, I'll ignore the sarcasm in your P.S. Danny, but if you want to cuss, go right ahead, but all you'll see in your post are ****.
