DanJR1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cheap prototypes

this has probably been said before but ill say it again. Why dont ACO just scrap the current classes and make the classes based on the state of tune then the cars could be any production car (a bit like Japanese GT championship).

You could have three classes
1. cars like the cars run in the GTS class but the rules could allow a greater amount of tuning. Imagine prototype-looking versions of the corvette, 550, NSX, Aston martins, Porsche GT2. Wouldnt it work out cheaper as well rather than havin to develop a full on prototype race car

2.Same as GTS class now.Because the class one cars would be more extreme looking ie bodywork, it should be easy to tell difference

3.Same as GT class

Prototype like GT cars will cost more than an out and out prototype.

I believe it is a S**t idea to scrap the LMP class. And it will never happen.

GT and GTS is nice, but LMPs are awesome.

ACO have said LMP1 WILL continue to be top class, with Maserati in GTS.

BUT ACO could still give the GTS cars more performance (bigger fuel tanks, bigger tires, less weight) to give them a chance at overall wins as at Le Mans, in the mid 90s, against the unrestricted LMP1 cars.
