Helio has been out on the Indy track in Treadway Motors' Idiot Racing League machine and turned in a respectable 216 mph. He said he was not comfortable with the car but drove it flat out and thought the track was fun.
Somebody better tell The Guy That Ruined Indy that another pair of dadburned furriners are preparing to make his bunch of kiddies look like the Soapbox Derby running on the Cleveland Airport track ... |

Sorry Liz, I meant that is why Helio should know when to stop drinking, as I could not see any other reason for him driving an IRL clunker.

Penske is going to race the Indy 500 next year and I think he's got something to do with Treadway.

Last I heard was doing the 500 was back down to 50/50, but it was almost a definite earlier
Treadway loaned Penske the car cause Penske loaned Rick Mears to Treadway to heklp them with this year's 500 effort, with driver Jason Leffler. Penske's United Auto Group also sponsored the car If Penske goes to the 500 in 2001, it will be in their cars, with no affiliaition to Treadway. |
