Tinsel Race Meeting At Kirkistown
News today that the christmas race meeting at Kirky is going ahead again this year.
TINSEL RACE MEETING AT KIRKISTOWN THE 500 Motor Racing Club of Ireland will stage a Christmas car race meeting at Kirkistown on Wednesday 27th December 06 and this one is purely for fun. No championship points chasing, so the drivers can relax and simply race for the sheer fun of it. Six races are planned, with two races each for: Formula Ford/Formula Vee; Formula Libre/Sportscars and Saloons. With light at a premium at this time of year, racing will commence at noon and there will be only one qualifying session per group. Already on the entry list, former F3 top runner Jonathan McGall, Donal O’Neill will contest the Formula Libre/Sportscar races in the Wray Motorsport Reynard and Jim McClements one of Ireland’s best known names in saloon racing will drive his very special Mini. Competition Secretary Richard Young reports that there is strong interest from the mainly southern based Formula Vee and Fiat racers and he stresses that this will be very much a fun event. |

Unfortunatley my car won't be available on time so I'll be most likley marshalling! So who is racing? |
