Old Race Dates
Ok champions, i need a hand in working out what happened and where at for some race dates, here goes;
12/2/78 - A round of the Rothmans Series for Formula 5000 cars. Where from, results etc... 22/1/79 - Race meeting from Sandown. Categories that raced etc... 25/2/1979 - Final round of the Rothmans Formula 5000 Series. Where from, results etc... 2/6/80 - Race meeting at Oran Park. Could it be the 1980 ATCC round? 2/11/80 - Manufacturers Championship round. Could it be the Surfers Paradise enduro? 27/2/81 - I have no information on this, other than that something was on somewhere  And finally, does anyone know where Round 2 of the 1981 Production Sportscar Championship was held, what category headlined the meeting and so on. Many thanks in advance

12/2/78 = AIR Rothmans Series
22/1/79 = ??? I doubt an event was run at Sandown in January 25/2/79 = Oran Park Rothmans Series 01/6/80 = AIR ATCC round 7 2/11/80 = Surfers Man Champs Rd 3 27/2/81 = Was a Saturday - no circuit racing that weekend just rallying 05/4/81 = Baskerville ASCC Rd 2 with AF1 round 1 Regards, Chris |
