I would but the car owner won't let me.

If the engine turns out crap (which won't surprise me) then I'm safe knowing the builder won't be out of work - he's got enough stories to keep Eastenders and Corrie going for a year or so

I remember the Stratos with great affection untouchable but fragile. After selling it John Churchill built another "Stratos" based on an F3000 chassis. Does anyone know what happened to him and the car?

Your post is 937 Lee. this will be 938. Each post is numbered. The number can be found near the top right hand corner of the post on this Forum. There is maybe 15 or so posts per page. So you will need to go back about 10 pages (roughly) to see post 777.
Cheers.

Lee,

This post of yours.

It occurs to me that this thread has moved away from its origins and perhaps should be closed. Discussions concerning chasis and previous history could be taken up in appropriate threads in the Historic Forum. I propose a new thread in this forum to cover the cars and entries for the CSCC series for 2012. Thoughts people?

I thought this would be the thread that never dies, but yes, has moved on considerably from last year's event. Good idea Peter.
