A third MONARO body shell is under construction at GRM for a yet to be announced 2 car team ,making a total of 3 monaros.
More information as it comes to hand but remember you heard it first on ten-tenths.
This "yet to be announced 2 car team" isn't Team Brock by any chance???

But apart from the ownership thing, why race at Taupo? its about as long as a quater mile, shot put and javlin throw at 1.4km.... ELBOWS OUT!

I think you will find that Ross Palmer is a REAL person, who does participate in several forums. Also, he has been in Dubai recently, so I don't think he was very bored!

The HRT Kid, I do have a policy of posting on ten tenths as I believe that even though we have the PROCAR site that the ten tenths forum is worthy of support.
In this day and age and the wide reach of the internet to limit dissemination to our own site is rather short sighted.
Ten Tenths is a global forum and as long as the guardians allow me to disseminate information [even though at times it may be contraversial] that is truthful and factual I will continue to give them "scoops" so to speak.
Keeper, The televison packages are progressing well.
Now that the Bathurst 24 hour has sucessfully completed it,s second year we have a lot of interest on a worldwide basis for 2004 live feed.
The proposed Taupo and Dubai 24 hour events mean that we will have in excess of 24 hours live feed that could go to over 80 countries [Indian Pacific Series].
We have plans to increase our televison for the domestic series from 32 hours to 64 hours, and that of course will continue to be shown in post produced form to similarily over 80 countries.

Timu, There is a proposal to increase the track length to almost 4kms.
The new circuit has been in the planning stages for 2 years now.[designed by Chris Amon].There are also plans to hold a Formula Green Eco Automotive conference to be attended by worldwide delegates.
So it is not only about the "motor racing".

Big Mac should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ross, many congratulations on the continued success and development of the PROCAR series. For fans such as myself, you and your series offers great variety and a movement away from the seemingly over hyped and over commercialised nature of TC Supertaxi’s series. However I am a little concerned about the long-term sustainability of the PROCAR expansion into Asia. Clearly you and the PROCAR team believe that you can make it work. Recent history would suggest (Panoz and SE Asia Le Mans) that others have struggled to establish sportscar-style events away from home and in this part of the world. What is going to make the Dubai and NZ events succeed where Panoz and SE Asia LM have failed? Personally I fear that you’re spreading your self too thin.
