Racing Collection Room Complete
Well, I took out all of my racing memorabilia the past week and a half and re-painted the room in lime green,orange, and black. I will now figure out how I am going to re-arrange all my items now. It turned out pretty good I think.
Here are a few pics, I really like the black blinds. The pictures dont do it justice.

I had to stare at this thread stupefied for a few moments.
DF that is the weirdest thing I have seen lately and I've seen plenty of weird stuff in recent times. They paint psycho wards walls lime green from what I hear so that doesn't bode well. |

Thanks Knowlesy. I have a few minor things to add to it, like my black outlet faceplates, small "7" decals on the black border and a checkered valance for the window.
When I get all my memorabilia in the room, I'll take more pics. |

That colour scheme takes a very special sort of person to come up with... I trust you got a good discount on the paint as I am sure it must have been some sort of discontinued colour?

As a bare room it looks awful but I reckon filled with your collection of whatever it is you have it may be a good background for the display. Have you got any pics of how the room used to be?

I'm trying to source the specialist psychiatric assistance you need as I write this DF. I appreciate the need is very urgent, so I'm pulling out all the stops. I've put a straight-jacket in the post - if you could pop that on it would save time when the men in white coats get to you.......
It reminds me of that Monty Python sketch from many years ago - 'Loony? Why should I be tied with the epithet 'loony' merely because I have a room painted green, black and orange.........'
