Ever Been to LasVegas Motor Speedway?
Perhaps you can help a few of us on the ChampCar board?
We've a few questions about the track... How far from the city to the track? What kind of traffic congestion should one expect? They're racing Craftsman Trucks and ChampCars on a double-bill. Last but certainly not least... Can you "tailgate-party" in the parking lot, with alcohol? Any other tips or suggestions? Thanks. Thread on CC board. |

Thanks, but we've been able to find all of our answers. Flatspot actually called the speedway to ask about the tailgating - it's permitted.
What I find interesting is that the 350-mile Craftsman Truck race is scheduled to begin at 7:00PM. The ChampCar race is scheduled at 9:00PM. What are they thinking? There's no way that the trucks can run 350 miles in under two hours! |

Nevermind. It's 350 kilometers.
