Manual Standard H gearboxes to allow "HUMAN" error to creep back in.

No more refuelling so that setups need to be compromised between high fuel at the begining of the race to low fuel at the end also resulting in tactical driving to look after car and tyres during the early stages when the stresses are higher.

and needless to say ban gizmo's, bring back slicks, and Scythe into aerodynamic grip

I definitely go with no refueling. It was only brought in to "spice up" the show anyway......

If you want overtaking...just reverse the grid order...or pick a grid position from a hat!

Look if you take a top race horse like say Najinski or Red Rum...and you cloned them and ran them all in the same race...would you really expect to see overtaking!? Get my point?

The best ones are at the front already!...It's called Formula One...come back next with a better car!

Rennen is right generally the fastest cars are at the front already because they qualified there and if nothing out of the ordinary happened all the cars would just spread out.

The problem now seems to be that it is so hard to overtake that people can't overtake to make up for mistakes and incidents. What we are missing are the great comeback drives that used to happen like Gerhard Berger in about 1994 spinning to near the back of the field at Spa and then passing people right, left and centre to finish 6th, I think.

Whilst overtaking shouldn't be the only important thing about GP it is the thing that people talk about (When was the last time you heard people raving about a driver's strategy?)

Taking away fuel stops would be good, but talking about Tilke tracks, I think they are quite good for overtaking (at least better than average F1 track)

Also have slicks back and make standard rear wings which give good slipstream for car behind.

I agree about the Tilke tracks being good for overtaking. There's more chance to pass at the new Hockenheim than the old one, for example.
