Richard B should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
British F3 Algarve

Thought I'd start the thread;
By my reckoning both championships could be wrapped up in the Algarve, Ricciardo to take International Class honours (unless Hitech have their way!).and McKenzie to win National Class.
Little info on F3 official website, who still think we are going to Bucharest!
Web site is http://autodromoalgarve.com.pt/index.php?lang=english

There's a full preview of the meeting here.

ART are returning with their 4 cars and regular drivers, who will be very competitive, whilst Manor are finally returning to British F3 with a couple of cars, but not, I think, their regular drivers.

If the entry does indeed reach 30, that will be a season high and remarkable for what is the penultimate round of the season.

Manor Motorsport, returning to British F3 after six years away with cars for Brazilian Pedro Enrique and for Spanish driver Roberto Merhi.

Happy to see Merhi there.

Me too, and I am sorry for saying he is not one of their current drivers. He is, of course, and is at Brands Hatch with them this weekend for the F3ES.

Must be on Cooper tires then I reckon, (Cooper wouldn't have it any other way?). Nice to see BF3 and F3ES spending more and more time together.

This is (another) one of those F3 outings that I would really like to see, a great circuit, but in all likelihood one of the least accessible.

Lucky chap! I watched the A1GP races from there and it really is a great circuit, although quite hard to find apparently. At least it was back then.

For those of us staying at home, here is the starting place for the Live Timing. It just takes you to the website and then you click on the Live Timing for Support Races tab.

That's very considerate of the Portuguese and it is true, now you mention it, because the times of the Superleague races from Estoril last weekend were the same as in the UK.

Good point.
Have any other drivers driven here? Or teams? possibly West-Tec during their Spanish F3 days?

You don't have to go back to school.

On your laptop go to Control Panel, then Date and Time. It should show you that your current time zone is Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London.

QED (once, like me, you've woken up! )

Sam Bird will be racing for Fortec in the Invitation class this weekend, I assume he will be running right at the front.

Yes, he should go well, although Christodoulou seems to been off the pace for Fortec since his one win.

It will be interesting to see how Sam has progressed since he was last in BF3.

a mate of mine is spannering for Sam this weekend. Looking forward to to see how he goes. Is there still a massive difference between the Kuhmo's and the Cooper's?

There is but for some reason it's nothing like as bad if you switch from Kumhos to Coopers. Ask Renger van der Zande, who prefers the Coopers.

I was told Coopers were a lot better. Is Bianchi racing? I saw he took a knock to his neck at Brands at the weekend.

Will be great to see ART go head-to-head with our boys again...
