I would have to agree that " At least staying overnight for Observation " would be the best case senario and yes we do have to respect H.I.P.P.A. laws . But as Chernaudi said being airlifted to a class 1 trauma hospital generally means Serious Injuries .

I hope I am wrong but I have to wonder if PWC even knows what is going on ? When they make statements like that it makes me think that they DO NOT

Who would know more? Teams or sanctioning body? Seems typical, however, that the news usually comes from the sanctioning body, but it's a moot point at this time. Just hope good news is issued from someone rather than bad.

Teams. The only thing the sanctioning body will know is what the team reps tell them.

I can't seem to find any information about their condition ,Though I must confess I Don't do any of the social media GARBAGE Anybody have any imput ?

Yes. Multiple injuries but he can get back to racing once he recovers and it is a long road ahead but he can fully recover, which is good news.

I don't recall there ever being an accident where a driver was injured in a race where there was not really any sort of information released about the condition of the driver 5 days after the accident. Usually by the end of the day or the next day there's some sort of information other than very vague "head injury" or "broken bones".

Is there any possibility of the police investigation being a factor in the lack of information? Perhaps related to why Palmer's car lost brakes or failed to slow after the straight.
