On a side note, Baseball is more of a World Series than anything Renault puts on...

Toronto Blue Jays, ok showing my ignorance there, but you know what i mean, its the same kind of arogance. Baseball is actually pretty good to watch but i guess it's just rounders.

Well the best baseball players in the world play in MLB, so I think its the world championship of baseball as individuals go, but not really teams. Especially since its not country vs country. Then again, the Criket World Cup should be called The Colonial World Cup.

I don't buy the "Bremer and Ranger know the tracks" excuse as to why they're doing so well. Sure that's of some advantage, but we've seen F3000 guys like JPM, Junquiera, Bourdais come over and have no problem showing how quick they are on new tracks. Bremer and Ranger are also doing well compared to guys who are not rookies. Ranger was keeping pace with Bourdais at Cleveland, that says something.
As for where Wilson is, as was mentioned, he has won a race this season. If not for a stupid mistake and mechanical failure he would have THREE race wins under his belt. What a loser! |

They're both good drivers, and maybe I'm wrong here, but I was expecting to see more like this from them say one or two seasons ago.

This is only Wilson's second season in ChampCars, and he was in a poor team last year!

I'm the first to admit, my knowledge of US racing is nowt compared to Brit stuff. Maybe the coverage is less here and that's why I've had that impression, I don't know.

It's a thread which started about Katherine Legge and which is currently debating the pros and cons of her move to Toyota Atlantic in the US. In this context, the relative merits of US to UK motorsport has come up, as has the success or otherwise of UK drivers who have made the move to the US.

Agreed, I think this has been a good and lively debate. Just waiting for Jamie to update me on the Indy Car race weekend, which hopefully might add something new to the debate!!
