2005 WDC third place?

Yes, 2005. Call me premature (ok, immature) but, I figure that this year's dominance will carry into 2005 so who will we see scraping for third?

I'm not convinced we'll see such dominance next year.

But if it does, the pursuing pack will be Raikkonen, Montoya, Button, Webber, Alonso, Fisichella, Sato, BAR Other driver.

In whatever order!

I think second place will be up for grabs - Raikkonen is probably favourite for it judging by McLaren's recent form, although Montoya, Webber, Alonso and Button are all serious candidates. Coulthard in a BAR could challenge for best-of-the-rest positions as well.

Its too early to assume that Ferrari will dominate the 2005 season. After 2002 how many expected Ferrari to be just as dominant in 2003 (when they ended up retaining the titles by a narrow margin)?

Any of the Renault, Williams and McLaren drivers could be in the running to be the best placed non-Ferrari driver in 2005. But who knows whether that driver will place 1st, 2nd or 3rd?

Anything can happen and probably will...

3. Montoya

Store that one for future reference if you will Mr Ashmore!

Juan and Kimi have a serious shot at the title next year. Alonso as well. Expect Webber and Fisco to be mega quick in the 2nd half of the season as well as DC (BAR #2). Button will struggle. Barrichello will be, Barrichello. Michael probably will win it but it will be close.

I think Montoya will outdo Kimi, but not by much. He, Michael and Button would be my tips for the top 3, as I think you've only got to get close-ish to Michael's pace to outdo Rubens.

Aniway, I love to see tight fights like in 2003. I love to see the WDC is decide in last race. Its bonus if we have new champion, and no problem if Michael grab his 8th WDC.

This is wrong thinking
Bridgestone completely dropped the ball in 2003 due to complacency bought on by the dominance of 2002...
and we know that they won't do it again for quite awhile.

Furrari/shu will masacre again in 2005 ,it's obvious
The only worries he has from the other teams is kimi in an improving Mac-but even that is a very long shot.

Kimi,Juan,Mark, jenson, rhubins and occasionally alonso + his team mate will be taking points off each other all through the year

Mark Webber has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
1.MS
2.Webber
3.Kimmi

MS will win it but Mark will push him. Kimmi will easily out do jpm leaving 4th place a huge fight between Alonso (which I think will get it) , Button,RB,jpm

05 I think will be the closest year in quite a few years

Take away Michael and they have this year. Rubens, Jenson, Montoya, Kimi and Alonso would all have wins as well as Trulli (Ralf would've 'won' Canada as well). And I'm sure we will next year as well, and maybe Michael won't be so dominant.
