Bit quiet round these parts

Is everyone locked in their garages cleaning equipment for next season?

Gilles lives! should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I was at PF international for the TKM GP two weekends a go, my nephew won the junior TKM 4 stroke final, his first big win in that class, he now carries the GP plate for next season.

Last weekend I was at Buckmore as my son is in the junior 8 - 11 arrive and drive club, he had two 2 seconds and a first in his heats but kart problems in the final. Next outing on the 6th January.

Good to see you're still racing at this time of year.

What "hot air" is being vented?

The usual stuff. I guess the less we do of something, the more we talk about it

One of the guys I race with has just posted some onboard footage from the Buckmore round of the Club 100 Premier Enduro series on YouTube if anyone's intersted. Pretty good quality, although he's had to reduce the resolution to keep the filesize down.

Roll on next season...

Thanks Kieran, I will pass on your congrats to Sean he will be chuffed. He saved his move until the last lap at the second harpin which was timed to perfection. It has taken a little while to get the Jade to his liking but it seems to be going well now.

Paul.

i havnt heard about what happened in the race or throghout the day, who was quick, who got pole etc. maybe u ca update me on this

but yes that is timed to perfection, there is no chance of getting back the lead once you are past that second hairpin. well done to sean.

Sure Kieran:

Michael West and Rhys Jenkins won the heats with Sean second in both. Carly Latcham was quickest in both but got taken out by Scott Mitchell whilst dicing for the lead in heat 1. She spun and stopped sideways on in the middlw of the track and somehow everyone missed her ! Scott got 4 points on his licence for that.

Carly won the prefinal but had hit Sean while trying to pass Michael at harpin 1, Sean recovered to finish second once again.

Then in the final Sean got an optimistic start to lead Carly for the first 6 laps or so, when she grabbed it back, he shadowed her until the last lap when she defended into harpin 1 which put her off line for H 2, where Sean dived inside of her. They both drove well and put a gap on the rest of the field. After the final, there was a stewards inquest into Sean's start but it didn't lead to anything but naturally Carly was quite upset after driving so well.

What have you planned for next year Kieran?

well we plan to race Senior tkm4. we have already done 3 races and seem to be getting somewhere. strange to hear that rhys is still racing in juniors when hes planning to race seniors next year? or can he only move up next year?

edit: sounds like a great race, seniors was cancelled because of lack of entry, would have loved to have seen it, and raced the same day

the fact that i had never been there before let alone in the rain has nothing to do with it eh? :P Also didnt i out qualify you in the timed Heat? Oh and the full 360 i did mid race helped you pull away (although you woulda beat me anyway) I think i still had a good few seconds over 3rd?

I kicked your ass at sandown thou and i will again in jan

I did an Arrive and Drive session for fun today, had a bit of a moment when I lost the rear end hit the wall, and somehow managed to not spin...
Got 5th fastest time today!

A few summers a go yes. Team of 2 to 4. At our home track. I really wanted to do it, and this was before I did TKM, just you didn't wanna do it and then blamed entry on me or something.
I love sprint racing but I would like to team up and do some endurance racing as well. Trouble is there is none for tkm 4 / is there?
Maybe we can finally do it this summer? corporate lol

and sam has lfs???

I would love to do some endurance karting.

sprinting is great fun but I think a full on endurance race would be awesome.

there is a 24hr over here in Oz somewhere that I always wanted to get involved in but never got around to it
