Would it happen? Yes, especially if the BSB gets the same great coverage as it did last year, its somewhat better than what we get for WSBK on Eurosport. On Sky Sports u get ALL the coverage from ALL of the races. Okay its a pay to view channel, but the coverage is better. And then theres the coverage on BBC Grandstand, but then thats the same for WSBK.

Could it happen? Yes, the BSB promoters havent gone out of their way to **** off the manufacturers like the organisers of the WSBK championship have done, so therefore the BSB championship might seem more appealling.

Should it happen? I dont see why not, why shoudnt it happen? Its not the BSB fault that the organisation is better than that of the WSBK at the moment, is it? Its not the BSB fault either that the BSB is attracting more and more fans to race events either, is it? The answer to all these questions for me is, no. I know its going off topic slightly, but look at the BTCC - its the strongest touring car championship in the world, (Im talking about series that run to the same regulations, not including Aussie V8 supercars or DTM) at least the best known. And a lot stronger at the moment than its main rival the ETCC, and nobody minds.

It could well happen. If it does, WSB has only itself to blame - all the dithering over whether or not fours were to be fitted with restrictors & then the decision to use a control tyre may well be lloked back on as the first nails in WSB's coffin.

The difference being the BTCC has stuck to Britain, which really, no matter what happens with the BSB, should do as well, for the sake of harmony in World racing at least.

How much do the BSB rules differ from WSB anyway?

I personally dont know all the changes that WSBK has gone through, from last year to this, apart from the bikes being closer to their road going counterparts than they were last year, and the WSBK series sticking to a one make tyre rule. Basically the BSB is now how the WSBK was last year and before, the same applies for the BSB.
