I will be very interested to see how the ACO spec FIA GT cars compare to last years cars.

With the development thats gone into the GT1 class they should be quicker if anything.

It looks good doesn't it. I did read somewhere DSC I think that they are going to the Monza race, which is the weekend after the opening round of the BGT Championship.

Excellent time. Thats almost a second faster than the LMES GT1 pole time from last year, also running to ACO specs.

If I'm not mistaken they were planning to run the last couple of races far away. Haven't read about the "normal" euro races, though their plans may have changed.

To be honest I can't be too excited about the new GruppeM and Embassy liveries. Probably the colour combinations, just doesn't appeal to me that much. I love the Menx and Russian Age 550's though, and the Vitaphone MC12.

That's correct there is also a possiblity of them doing the Silverstone round as well, but that all depends on how there BGT campign is coming along.

Would be cool. Always good to see more GT2 entries, and when they're competative as well it's even better. Curious how the team will work with the 996 this year, they've shown that they're professionals already so I've got good expectations of them.

Could the Cirtek car and the Menx car be the two Prodrive chassis that ran LeMans last year?

i think those 2 chasiss went to Larbre.. well at least one of them did.

i think the Menx or Cirtek ones are probably the old BMS ones that were run last year (since BMS got new ones for LMES)

the russian 550 looks like it has the front radiator grill that prodrive used at lemans last year(looks a bit like it has fangs), so i don't know if this makes it one of those cars. the menx 550 looks very nice in black also.

seems as though the switch to the ACO regs is going to end up costing the FIA GT cars less than 2 seconds over a lap of Monza which is pretty suprising as i thought the difference would have been greater at such a horsepower-intensive track

The Maserati looks very good in Vitaphone livery; better, in my 'umble opinion, than the works cars. The Russian Age Racing car looks surprisingly good too, despite it being a non-red Ferrari (which is obviously morally wrong).

Or maybe no time at all, as I suspect none of the cars ran qualifiers or pushed really hard.
