Mondeo Man33 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Charlie Cox’s ‘95 BTCC Mondeo

I’m sure we all recall Charlie Cox’s accident at Thruxton in 1995 in which his 1994 Mondeo was written off.

I’m interested to learn about the newly-built 5-door model he replaced it with, as there doesn’t seem to be much information out there about it.

I’m guessing by the sticker on the rear bumper that it was built by Matter; this must have been incredibly expensive for a privateer team to fund?

Does anyone have information about the build and how the team even managed to make it happen?

Last I heard. It was for sale in Germany at a highly imaginary price by one of these car dealers..
