I have been tempted a few times, but it's probably one of only about err, one left!

There can't be many untouched original paint cars left, not even any underseal on it . . .All I've done is jet wash, dry and waxoil. ot sure what I'll do with it long term, its LHD, I have all the bits to convert it, but hard to do without damaging paintwork. it'll never be worth a fortune but it is a rarity.

One naked body went from F to Ireland few months ago for cheap. Probably not a genuine L'Tina but rust free. White, blue stripes, straight, LHD. An original complete dash, LHD or RHD, seems hard to source and as you say, the conversion is not an easy job.

aerflow cars are simple, dash is symettrical. pre aerflow harder. I have a LHD dash, but it could be done by a very good fabricator without. a lot of time.
given the time & cost of restoring a rusty shell properly its not difficult to see why good 2 door donors are hitting or getting close to 5 figures.

lots of parts have been reproduced but some are still scarce. I have managed to keep a cars worth of good genuine spares for my GT, which is the same as the LC.

If it's the one I've seen a picture of, the day you sell it, I might be interested. I love a standard Cortina, my kind of "sleeper".
