Is the Bathurst 24 hour in Trouble???
I see that enries are now open to the Future Tourers and Utes ("We are applying to run a Holinger gearbox, Bilstien suspension and an upgraded steel crankshaft among other things," said team principal Rod Nilsson.)

Future Tourers and Utes were always open to enter. They fit in Class 10, which is a sorta 'run what ya brung' deal.
It's seemingly in trouble for other reasons though, one being lack of personnel. |

Ute entry has been vetoed by Procar ("not in the spirit of the event . . . ) , Nilsson is now looking at other options.

If we see ONE Bathurst 24hour race - which I am sure we will...I will be very happy. Sadly, it's going to be tough getting a repeat next year. In recent times, Adelaide ALMS race and TOCA Bathurst race have all tried new races, but have fallen away due to politics etc. But I hope I am wrong.

They only have enough officials for 8 hours so they are in alot of trouble.
