It's a bit old but I have taken a look at AUS's laps and perhaps (remotely
) someone is interested as well. In fact the rain in the last two GPs makes lap analysis in Malaysia and China more convoluted, that's the reason I looked back to Melbourne.
The graph shows lap times (black=Button, red=Vettel, blue=Kubica, green=Rosberg, they were the most interesting cases). Only laps below 1:32 are shown.
Button and Vettel were closely matched most of time. Kubica lost time in the first stint (soft tyres?), but was essentially as fast as the leaders in the second half. He put some very fast 3 or 4 laps in the middle section. Rosberg had a "freak" fast lap, but he was mainly out of touch along the race.
Against Kubica and Theissen's opinions, Robert was faster then Vettel in the last laps, but only tenths (if something) faster than Jenson, so hardly he had a great chance to win the race as he was 4 seconds behind with 3 laps to go. Anyway it had been exciting to watch.
